Packet at State Records KINGSWOOD 14774 in series 3 and located in Container 17/2192. Notice of Probate was published in the Government Gazette dated 1 Mar 1887. There is an Affidavit by Edith QUAIL that says that there is only her and the two daughters entitled to the estate which was stated at Two Hundred and Ten Pounds crossed out to read Eighty Four Pounds. Frederick Arnold BANKS of 104 Glebe Road GLEBE made an Affidavit that he would be surety in the sum of One Hundred and Thirty Three Pounds. (This was done in cases where a will was not left to prevent someone applying for Letters, then absconding with the estate)33
